The Edgewater Community Religious Association (ECRA) hosts an annual interfaith Thanksgiving Service.     This year the “Gratitude, Pluralism, and Democracy” themed Thanksgiving celebration will be held at Emanuel Congregation, 5959 N. Sheridan at 3 PM on Sunday, November 22.

This is a wonderful gathering of Jews, Muslims, and a variety of Christian denominations to celebrate all that we are thankful for, including our diverse and harmonious Edgewater community.    Delight in the music from the various community choirs and in brief readings from various faith perspectives.   Care for Real, our Edgewater Community food pantry, will gratefully accept perishable food and cash donations at the service.

Registration is required for the event and can easily be made by clicking on this link:  Register Here.   If you are unable to register online, please call 773-234-0630.  Please note that it is the policy of Emanuel Congregation that all visitors are screened, and all bags searched upon arrival.   Parking is available both in the Emanuel Congregation parking lot and in the vacant lot on the west side of Sheridan close to the synagogue.  There will be a social hour after the service to mingle and meet those from other faith traditions.
