A FORUM on MAGNIFICA HUMANITAS (and Artificial Intelligence)
Presented by St. Gertrude Commonweal Action / Commonweal Dialog
FRIDAY, 23 OCTOBER from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
Saint Gertrude SOCIAL HALL, 1401 W. Granville Avenue.
Artificial Intelligence is something that is afftecting all of our lives. You need not be Catholic or even Christian to appreciate and learn more about this important topic from a faith perspective. Hopefully this may spark other conversations and/or presentations on Artificial Intelligence in other ECRA faith communities.
Professor JOSEPH VUKOV, Associate Professor of Philosophy and Associate Director of the Hank Center for the Catholic Intellectual Heritage at Loyola University Chicago, will discuss the importance and implications for all of us of POPE LEO’s recent encyclical on Humanity and Artificial Intelligence.
You can read the encyclical at the following link:

Be prepared for an enlightening evening with timely and lively discussion.
Pizza and wine will be served. Contributions to share gratefully received.
